Yes — this removes a password you already know, it doesn't crack or guess passwords you've lost.
What kinds of protected PDFs does this handle?
Standard PDF password encryption (RC4-128 and AES-128, revisions 2-4) — which covers the vast majority of password-protected PDFs. Newer AES-256 encryption (PDF 2.0) isn't supported yet.
